Questions before you start
Do I need acoustic treatment or soundproofing for my apartment?
Treatment controls reflections inside the room. Soundproofing addresses sound crossing the enclosure. If the problem is traffic or neighbour noise, identify the transmission paths first; if the room is echoey, absorption may help. Some homes need both.
Can you work with my interior designer or architect?
Yes. Acoustic layouts, finishes, loudspeaker positions and building services should be coordinated with the design team. Early involvement makes it easier to resolve competing requirements before construction.
Will panels stop loud movie sound reaching the next room?
Panels alone will not isolate movie sound. Noise containment depends on the walls, ceiling, floor, doors, seals and ventilation paths. Low-frequency sound can require substantial construction and careful junction details.
Can an existing home be improved without rebuilding it?
Often room treatment and audio layout can be improved with limited construction. Major noise isolation may require more invasive work. An assessment distinguishes useful smaller interventions from changes that would not solve the stated problem.
What should I send for a residential consultation?
Send the Bangalore locality, floor plan or room dimensions, photographs, main noise or listening concern, intended use and timeline. Note whether it is a new build, renovation or occupied apartment.
